THE FAIR EXPERIENCE
Fellowships, Assistantships, Internships & Residencies

After a multi-year hiatus, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Fellowships, Assistantships, Internships, and Residencies program is BACK - revived and relaunched!

FAIR
is a wellspring of opportunity for the next generation of theatre practitioners, facilitating collaborative exchange of knowledge, skills, and perspectives with experienced professionals.

In 1935, Angus Bowmer founded OSF with the mission of bringing transformative, world-class theatre to Southern Oregon.

In 2005, Associate Artistic Director (now Artistic Director) Tim Bond founded The FAIR Experience with the mission of creating a doorway in Southern Oregon for aspiring theatre artists, administrators, and artisans to access training in the field.

How opportune that in 2025, our 90th Anniversary “Homecoming” season, OSF will see the revitalization of its professional development experience 20 years after its founding.

FAIR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The FAIR Experience at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival promotes equity and diversity within the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the field of American theatre at large, while generating the conditions of belonging and support within an enriching professional development environment.

People(s) of the BIMPOC community (Black, Indigenous, Multiracial, People of Color), neurodivergent people, people with disabilities, and people of the LGBTQIA2S+ community are strongly encouraged to apply.
