Performing in the 2013 Green Show Thursday, July 31, Friday, August 2, and Sunday August 4.

This is their third season in the OSF Green Show.

Mariachi Extravaganza National Competition Winners showcasing their heritage and culture.

Mariachi Cascabel is a high school based group of students who come from a very small town south of the Mexican border called Rio Grande City. This award winning group performs under the direction of Alex Rodriguez and represents the thousands of student based mariachi groups throughout the United States.

Mariachi Extravaganza on Community: The mariachi group appeals to multiple audiences, but especially to the Hispanic community who thrive to hear the beautiful music that comes from their culture and their heritage. It touches the hearts of multiple generations, multiple socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. You do not have to speak the language to enjoy this music. You can see by the love, the joy and the passion how this music touches everyone. This is the type of music that all can enjoy and is proven with audiences everywhere when you see multiple generations all coming to the show together.
