In one season at OSF: Sebastian and Sailor in Twelfth Night; Athos and Others in The Three Musketeers. Jaysen Wright is a DC–based actor. Previous credits include The Ballad of Emmett Till, That Summer in Sumner, and Medgar Evers in Benevolence (Mosaic Theater Company); Gaston in Beauty and the Beast (5th Avenue Theatre); Choir Boy (Marin Theatre Company and Studio Theatre productions); I Hate it Here, Wig Out!, and Rocky Horror (Studio Theatre); The Royale (Olney Theatre Center and 1st Stage co-production); Take Me Out and Now Comes the Night (1st Stage); Smart People and Jubilee (Arena Stage); The Importance of Being Earnest (Everyman Theatre); Actually and Sons of the Prophet (Theater J); Macbeth (Folger Theatre); The Wiz and A Christmas Carol (Ford’s Theatre); Measure for Measure, Wallenstein, and Coriolanus (Shakespeare Theatre); Acoustic Rooster (The Kennedy Center resident production and National Tour); and Looking for Roberto Clemente, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, Anatole, and Davy Copperfield (Imagination Stage). Jaysen is an adjunct professor of theater at The George Washington University where he teaches acting. He holds an MFA in Acting from Indiana University and a BA in Theatre form Grinnell College.
