Other credits: Teaching: Senior voice tutor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London; course leader of the renowned Voice Studies course at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Publications: Vocal Arts Workbook and DVD and Verbal Arts Workbook (both co-authored with Rebecca Clark Carey). Awards: U.K. National Teaching Fellowship, 2007. 

Education: Speech and drama at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow; degrees in English language and linguistics from both Edinburgh University and Reading University.
