Jaz Hall is a queer, non-binary, interdisciplinary artist—director, performer, casting associate, producer, curator, and advocate. Jaz champions community building, new work development, and art with historically marginalized groups at the forefront. Works for and by these communities are the forward momentum of necessary change. Recently, Jaz co-directed the transformative ‘Tia Pray a Sound by a.k. payne; Breaking the Binary Theatre Festival, The Public. Within the 2023 Green Show, Jaz showcased their 3rd installment of IT IZ... WHAT IT IZ: A MizCast Variety Show and produced independent work by OSF performers. While on the OSF Artistic Producing team (Nataki Garrett, Evren Odcikin), Jaz virtually debuted their QTBIPOC artist platform, WOMB, the creation space. Jaz collaborates with the Empowered Artist Collective (Trailblazer), In The Margin (Producer), and JZ Casting (Associate). Howard University; BFA, Musical Theatre.
