Ed McCurtain spent 25 years in Silicon Valley working in startup companies in marketing and sales management roles. As Vice President of Worldwide sales at Plexus Computers, Inc., as Director of Sales at MasPar Computers, as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Optivision and as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at LynuxWorks he grew revenue to record levels. Since retiring in 2000 Ed has joined the national Board of Trustees of The ALS Association. He is also a limited partner of the Red Rock Venture Partners Entrepreneurs Fund. Ed started his career with the IBM Corporation as a Systems Engineer. He was in sales and marketing management roles at the Xerox Corporation, National Semiconductor and TRW. Ed graduated with a B.A. in Communications and Speech from Drury University in Springfield, MO. He lives in Boulder Creek, CA, and has been continuously attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for over 25 years.
