Rick Bleiweiss, Ashland, Oregon, received a Masters Degree in Film from New York University, while also attending Harvard Business Schools Executive Education Program. Rick has had more than forty years experience in the music and entertainment industry. Starting as a performer and Grammy-nominated producer, he became a senior executive at a number of major record companies including Arista, Island, BMG, and Polygram. He was named Music Executive of the Year by the CIMS Coalition of Independent Music Stores. Rick worked with and/or created the marketing campaigns for scores of musical artists and motion picture soundtracks including U2, The Bodyguard, Kiss, Outkast, Whitney Houston, Kenny G, Britney Spears, Saturday Night Fever, The BeeGees, Alan Jackson, and hundreds more. In Ashland, Rick has been on the Presidents Advisory Board at SOU, the Board of the Ashland Independent Film Festival, a consultant to Blackstone Audio, and a member of the Write On! Writers cooperative.
