Brandon Ivie has been collaborating on Justin Huertas’ Lizard Boy since 2014, most recently directing its 2023 Off-Broadway premiere. As director/developer: Jasper in Deadland by Ryan Scott Oliver/Hunter Foster, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes by Michael Kooman/ Christopher Dimond, String by Adam Gwon/Sarah Hammond, etc. He has directed across the country at such theatres as Seattle Rep, Diversionary Theatre, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, Signature Theatre, Barrington Stage, Goodspeed, Ford’s Theatre, The Kennedy Center, The Public Theater/Joe’s Pub, Village Theatre, HERE Arts Center, Prospect Theatre Company, and internationally at Hope Mill Theatre (UK) and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As producer and administrator he is Founding Artistic Director of Contemporary Classics, has served as Associate Artistic Director of Village Theatre since 2016 spearheading their expansive new musicals program, and spent four seasons at The 5th Avenue Theatre as Artistic Projects Manager and Casting Director.
