Automation Supervisor / Mechanical Designer

First season at OSF: 1986

After graduating from North Carolina School for the Arts and completing another season of summer stock at Berkshire Theatre Festival, I drove across the country for the first time to work for OSF in the fall of 1986 as a carpenter to build the 1987 season. My knowledge of metal work and mechanics allowed me to take on many of the mechanical effects projects. I have developed many of the stock mechanical systems at use in our productions and, in 2013, was hired as the Automation Supervisor to the newly created Automation Department.
