Please read the following guidelines to better ensure you submit your application appropriately.
Please note that all submissions and auditions are for the acting company (approximately 80-95 actors) who are in residence in Ashland, Oregon between 7 to 10 months of the year, playing and understudying multiple roles in our 11-show season.
Every season we add a few new members to the company. That number varies from year to year and depends on the roles that are available once the current company members have been cast.
Our casting season is between May and October for the following season, but the majority of auditions are held in other cities as needed between August and October for the following season. We generally hold auditions in New York during this timeframe as well as other cities as needed, by appointment only. We have no information at this time as to when / if we will be holding auditions in other cities.
If you would like to submit yourself, please e-mail a current picture and resume to the link below. The resume should have phone and email contacts on it as well as your union status. Please include the city where you reside as well as your union status in the subject line.
OSF does not acknowledge receipt of submissions except to schedule an audition when appropriate. Please know that we have received your email and will contact you if we would like to set up an audition, either in person or on videotape. We keep everyone on file who submits.
Actors visiting Ashland between May and October may request an audition by submitting via the link below. Best efforts are made to accommodate actors from out of town but appointments are given only on a time-available basis and not guaranteed.

AEA REQUIRED AUDITIONS
We hold Equity Principal Auditions per the Equity guidelines every year. We do not have a date for 2013 New York EPA yet. Details for all AEA calls are given to Equity at least two weeks prior to the auditions. Additionally, we hold a call for local AEA actors who live with 50 miles of Ashland.
You must be authorized to accept employment in the United States in order to audition. Candidates will be required to present proof of U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Please do not call. Please do not mail a picture and resume to the theater’s administrative office. We cannot guarantee that a mailed submission will be seen. An email submission is the only way to guarantee that your submission reaches us.
