Spend an hour with actors, artisans and other OSF company members who share their knowledge about the Festival and theatre in general, followed by a question-and-answer period.

In the spring join us for a lecture or a Preface Plus!

On Saturdays starting March 2, 2013 until May 18, 2013 we will present lectures and a Preface Plus on Two Trains Running. A Preface Plus is a 45 minute introduction to a play with 15 minutes of question and answer time at the end. Lectures will be held March 30, April 13, April 20, April 27 and May 11.  

The Preface Plus for Two Trains Running will be held March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23, April 6, May 4, and May 18.

  • Lecture: “What’s Love Got to Do with It?: Ruminations on a Contemporary Shrew,” Lue Morgan Douthit, Director of Literary Development and Dramaturgy

Saturday, April 27    

  • Lecture: "An Actor's Process: King Lear on King Lear,"  Jack Willis, Actor. Lydia G. Garcia, Moderator

Saturday, May 11      

  • Lecture: “Creating The Unfortunates,” Casey Hurt, Ian Merrigan and Ramiz Monsef, playwrights

 

All spring events are held in Carpenter Hall at noon. Tickets are available online or at the Box Office. $10.00; $9.00 for members; $8.00 for youths (ages 6 – 17.) Please be on time.
