Jess Carr

Community Producer

In fifteen seasons at OSF: Community Producer; Assistant Producer, Producing Assistant, and Production Coordinator. During her time in the Community Productions department, she has helped produce the Green Show, The Daedalus Project, the Ashland MLK City Celebration, Hip Hop Poetry Open Mics, the Juneteenth Celebration, The Every 28 Hours Plays, Theatre of War, Pamplona, Mixing Texts, The Laramie Project, Hip Hop Boot Camp, and more. She also served as the Green Show Deck Manager from 2004-2007, and was a stage management intern on The Comedy of Errors (2004) and The Piano Lesson (2003). 

Other Credits: Administrative Assistant, Board Member, and Logistics Task Force Chair on The Every 28 Hours Plays 

Education: Studied Secondary Education, Language Arts at Wake Forest University (Master of Teaching Fellowship recipient), B.A. English, Education, Southern Oregon University. Studied Liberal Arts with focuses in Stage Management, Psychology, and English and Dramatic Literature at Bennington College.
