Ross in Macbeth
Talk about living the dream! Since the age of 12, David Anthony Lewis has wanted to be a company member at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and since the age of 14, has wanted to be in a production of Macbeth. At last, it has all converged in this happy moment! To achieve this goal, David acquired a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts late last millennium, and has been doing Shakespeare all across the country since then, including 8 seasons and 35 productions at the beautiful Blackfriars Playhouse for the American Shakespeare Center. He has played a great many kings, villains, and clowns; he is a well-trained and deeply experienced singer and also plays an ever-growing variety of musical instruments, specializing in most things rhythm section. He is a husband, father, and grandfather, and generally introduces himself as the luckiest man in the world.
