Pisanio and Ensemble in The Cymbeline Project
Jessica Ko is a Los Angeles–based actor, playwright, and educator. She spent 3 seasons at OSF: Rosalind in As You Like It, Mariana in All’s Well That Ends Well, Princess Katherine/Boy/Montjoy in Henry V, Dou Yi in the US premiere of Snow in Midsummer, Shapeshifter in the world premiere of Hannah and the Dread Gazebo, Black Swan Lab member, and now in her 4th season, remotely filming for The Cymbeline Project. Other regional theatre: Cleveland Play House, Chautauqua Theatre Company, Trinity Repertory Company, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. New York theatre: The Flea Theater, Urban Stages, Gallery Players. She is a faculty artist for Middlebury College’s Beyond the Page education initiative. With fellow OSF alum Nemuna Ceesay and other collaborators across the country, she co-launched The Blueprint, an all BIPOC–led training program for BIPOC emerging artists. As a playwright, she was invited to join Center Theatre Group’s 2021–2022 LA Writer’s Workshop, which will culminate in a production at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.
