Kelly Bulkeley, Portland, OR, is a psychologist of religion specializing in dream research. He is former president of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, director of the Sleep and Dream Database, senior editor of the journal Dreaming, and author of more than 20 books on dreams, history, art, and science. He has served as a school board member, parent-teacher volunteer, and sports coach. Kelly holds a B.A. from Stanford, an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School and a Ph.D. from the U. of Chicago Divinity School. Kelly and his wife, Hilary Krane, have three adult children and enjoy cooking, theater, and the Oregon outdoors. He started coming to OSF as a child, and now more so after moving from the Bay Area to Portland ten years ago. Kelly is passionate about being on the OSF Board. He says, “Theater is a kind of collective dreaming, and OSF creates a magical, transformative space in which artists and audiences can envision new worlds together.”
