This is their eighth season in the OSF Green Show.
A NorthWest Tribal performance group sharing traditional songs, dances and stories that include the modern performance arts and music.
Brent Florendo, Sitwalla Pum, is the founder of this performance and group. He is a Wasco/Yakima Indian fromt he Warm Springs reservation with professional experience as a ballet dancer, opera singer, director, writer, actor and musician.
Brent is the Native Nations Liaison at Southern Oregon University. His professional, traditional storytelling is the foundation of his artistry and his family are the other members of the group.
Brent is an Ashland resident who shares and represents Native American perspectives and builds a sense of community. He has participated in many local events such as Ashland Parks and Recreation "Salmon Celebration", Wisdom Keepers, Sacred Seed Celebration, as well as facilitated Native American presentations and/or workshops such as the Buffalo Field Institute, Native American Ecological Symposium at Southern Oregon University (SOU), and serves as co-director of Konaway Nika Tilicum Native American Academic Youth Academy at SOU.
