Peking Opera Specialist, Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land

Ma is the director and choreographer of Fantasia Performing Arts Center (1994–present), first established in Taiwan in 1987, the first professional Chinese dance organization in Taiwan. Established in Cupertino, CA, in 1994, it teaches Chinese opera to American students. 

Other credits: Played Green Snake in The White Snake (1979, Lincoln Center Theater); played Goneril in King Lear and Hecate in a contemporary Chinese opera Macbeth (National Theatre and Concert Hall, Taipei, Taiwan); dancer and choreographer in Madame Butterfly (Monterey Peninsula College, also artistic director and assistant producer). Ma has taught contemporary and historical Chinese opera and dance in schools in the Bay Area, Washington, D.C., and New York. 

Education: BA, Drama, National Taiwan University of Arts.
