Ms. Duran-Cefalu has done over 80+ musical theater productions as music director, associate, or keyboardist. Most recent theatre work: In the Heights at La Mirada and Rubicon Theater; Associate Music Director, Hamilton (And Peggy Tour). Some favorites as keyboardist: The Book of Mormon, Beautiful, Motown: The Musical, Wicked. She also played keyboards for the Academy award–winning Pixar short Piper. Other theatres as MD or Associate: ACT SF (Stuck Elevator, Tales of the City), San Jose Repertory Theater, AMTSJ, and Shotgun Players. Dolores has played in many rock/jazz/funk bands including The Crystals, the Drifters and Freddie Cannon. Most recently she checked off her bucket list “play with an all-girl salsa band” (Las Chikas) in Los Angeles. Awards: Outstanding Rock Keyboardist, Yamaha Soundcheck; MD for All Shook Up at Center Rep Walnut Creek. As arranger/orchestrator/track creation: Real Housewives: The Musical (Steele Spring Productions), Christmas Dreamland, many shows for Cedar Fair Parks (recently, Come See About Me, a Motown revue; music creation for Tricks and Treats and Winterfest) and Theatre In The Park Kansas. Hobbies: drawing, hiking, mall browsing, playing all of Elton John’s catalogue. She is SUPER excited for her return with Oregon Shakespeare Festival!
