Associate Scenic Designer, Much Ado About Nothing and Jane Ayre

Gretchen Ugalde is thrilled to be making her OSF debut! Ugalde is a Southern California based scenic designer, raised between the Bay Area and Cebu City, Philippines. Most recent credits include The Bald Soprano (University of California, Irvine), Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Okoboji Summer Theatre), Side By Side By Sondheim (The Conservatory for the Performing Arts, Stephens College). Ugalde is currently pursuing her MFA in Scenic Design at the University of California, Irvine (Class of 2026). She would like to thank the faculty and staff at UC Irvine for their rigorous training and constant support, and special thank you to her mentor, Efren Delgadillo Jr., for creating an inspiring learning environment for her and her classmates to grow as artist.
