Co-Producer, Whole
Juli is a writer, filmmaker, and photographer. She is the co-creator, -writer, and -star of The Right Swipe, an intersectional feminist romantic comedy web series (Austin Film Festival, Urbanworld, OTV | Open Television). Recently, she co-produced the short films Whole + Six Feet Apart by Isaac Gómez and Monty Cole and completed her first short film, Caroline, which received SENE’s Limelight Women in Film Award. She was the assistant director and assistant intimacy coordinator for the world premiere of Tracy Letts’s Linda Vista (Broadway, Steppenwolf, Mark Taper Forum). Juli’s writing has been recognized by the Luminarts Cultural Foundation, Illinois Arts Council, and O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. Films she has written and produced have been supported by Chicago Filmmakers, the Illinois Arts Council, and Artists With Impact. Her photos have appeared in the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, and on MTV’s Catfish. Juli extends special gratitude to Dunkin’ iced coffee and her lab/pit mix, Buffy.
