Dramaturg, It’s Christmas, Carol!
Stephen Buescher is a director, choreographer, and actor. He choreographed The Copper Children for OSF in 2020 and is delighted to be back. He recently choreographed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime at San Diego Rep. as well as directed various staged readings including Homeridae by Alexandra Espinoza at San Diego Rep. and Soul Records by York Walker at Manhattan Theater Club. Current productions include Fiasco Theater’s New York production of Pericles (Movement), Dance Nation at UCSD (Movement), The Moliere Project at the University of San Diego (Director) and A Flea in Her Ear at UCSD (Director). Stephen’s choreography has been seen at numerous regional theaters including American Conservatory Theater, Long Wharf, Trinity Rep., Seattle Rep., Arena Stage, and La Jolla Playhouse. Directing credits include plays by Dario Fo, Feydeau, Goldoni, Lorca, Shakespeare, and Brecht. Stephen is a graduate of Dell’Arte, Calarts and is a member of SDC.
