Conductor (various dates), Into the Woods
Martin was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). He serves as Music Director of the Rogue Valley Symphony (since 2010), Queens Symphony Orchestra (since 2017) and the Oregon Coast Music Festival (since 2025). A Fulbright scholar, he holds two doctorates in music. This marks his third time with OSF’s Into the Woods – in 2014 he conducted the show in Ashland and, with the OSF cast, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, CA. www.martinmajkut.com.
