Kristina Marie Balao Miranda, MA, NIC (she/siya), is proud to identify as a Queer, faith-based, first-generation Filipina, Mother-Father Deaf, Multicultural Coda (Child of Deaf Adults). For over 15 years, she has worked as a freelance ASL - English interpreter. She is deeply passionate about social and language justice challenges, Deaf rights, and international human rights law and policy. Kristina has worked in a variety of performing arts spaces such as concerts (Alicia Keys, P!ink, Maroon 5 2009), film (i.e. Sound of Metal 2018), television (i.e. CBS Showcase 2021), and the stage (i.e. Tribes 2012, I Was Most Alive With You 2016, and The Music Man 2022; Alok - Kennedy Center 2022). Kristina is incredibly honored to have been part of The Cymbeline Project with DASL Monique “MoMo” Holt, Yvans Cator Jr., and Amanda Welly.
