Awards and honors: Emmy and Writers Guild of America Award nominations for Friends: (Best Comedy Series [twice] and Best Writing for a Comedy Series); Emmy nomination for The West Wing (Best Drama Series) and WGA nomination for Best Writing for a Drama. Junge’s episode of Friends’ “The One Where Everyone Finds Out” was used in a scientific study and cited in Atlantic magazine as a proven “mood booster.”
