Playwright and Performer, Virgins to Villains
Robin has been an OSF Acting Company member for 26 seasons. She holds an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre, and has been working professionally since 1984. During the span of her career, she has appeared in 61 productions of 30 different plays by William Shakespeare. In 2000 she created her first show, Bard Babes, an exploration of the pleasures and pitfalls of playing the female side of Shakespeare's canon. Her solo autobiographical show, Virgins to Villains, premiered in 2014. Both shows have been performed in theatres, universities, and organizations around the country. She has also written and performed in shows for Holland America Cruise Line’s “Shakespeare at Sea” program, and Shakespeare's Labors in Love for Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Robin has been an adjunct professor of theatre at SOU and has lectured and taught at the University of Idaho, UCLA, Stanford University, National Taiwan and I-Lan Universities in Taiwan, and Peking University in Beijing, China.
