Awards and honors: Ofner Prize, named Best New Playwright of 2010 by Chicago Magazine, given first Revolucionario Award in Theater by the National Museum of Mexican Art, recipient of an NEA Distinguished New Play Development Grant and a 3Arts Artists Award.
