We dedicate this production of The Tempest to the late OSF production stage manager Jeremy Eisen (1970–2021). The Tempest was his favorite Shakespeare play, and we’re honored to celebrate his longtime service to OSF with this production.
The OSF community is heartbroken at Jeremy’s untimely passing. In his 23 years with the company, Jeremy stage managed some of OSF’s seminal productions, from classics to musicals to numerous new works that have gone on to great success beyond OSF. Jeremy was a consummate professional and was known for his deft hand in guiding process and providing personal and artistic support to all who crossed his path. One of his greatest contributions to OSF was his commitment to supporting young stage managers, and many at OSF and around the country name him as a beloved mentor. His impact on the next generation will be felt for decades to come.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones. His quiet strength, humility, and generosity will be missed deeply by all of us.
